About Wilk Construction

I, Steven M. Wilk inherently came into the field of construction at a young age.  At the age of 8, my grandfather, Tom Romanauski, gave me a sanding block and a stack of small wood pieces.  It was needed for custom furniture he was manufacturing.  Looking back, he was just giving me a task to preoccupy me so he could get some work done.  A job an eight-year-old couldn’t mess up too bad.  About an hour later, I found him and asked if he had more for me.  He replied, “No Bud, we worked enough today, you deserve to go fishing.”  Unbeknownst to me, this 20 years later would be the memory for the start of Wilk Construction.  At the age of 17, I completed high school and two years of vocational schooling at the Capital Area Career Center; currently known as Wilson Talent Center in Mason, Michigan for Construction Technology I&II.

I have since had 10 plus years’ experience in the field on projects ranging from small 1 day repairs to large projects up to 4200 plus square feet new housing builds.  As well as every size and trade in between.  I’ve slowly been hand picking my team to produce the best work possible.  My wife, Heather Wilk, my team and myself will give you the best possible experience while giving you the craftmanship on whatever your project may be.  We will work with you on whatever ideas you have to make your vision come to life.
